As a partner of the Midlands Voter Engagement Project, we will volunteer to conduct voter registration and education drives during National Voter Registration Day at Richland One High Schools. The event will be held at each high school in Richland One during that school’s lunch period for seniors.
This event will be held at Legacy Early College during the seniors lunch period.
We will be presenting to Hughes Academy Ladies of Empowerment about the mission and vision of The Backbone to encourage them to practice using their voices to advocate for themselves and spark positive change. Hughes Academy Ladies of Empowerment (grades 6-8) provides young ladies exposure, training, and daily support to be empowered in their lives.
